Condition Monitoring & Vibration Analysis
Vibration Analysis (VA) is a critical tool for understanding the condition of industrial machinery. It is often considered one of the most reliable ways to identify faults in rotating machinery and is a key component of predictive maintenance. Identification and quantification of developing faults in equipment can prevent the need for reactive maintenance and allows faults to be addressed before they deteriorate into a major failure with consequential effects and downtime.
Re-Generate specialise in the vibration analysis of rotating machinery (turbines, pumps, generators, gearboxes etc) to the current international industry standards such as ISO10186 and ISO20816.
Re-Generate have invested in extremely sensitive and highly accurate portable vibration analysis and data acquisition equipment and, more importantly, have the engineering experience and skillsets to provide the following services:
Data acquisition - Collection of vibration data (Vibration Footprint) using a combination of displacement, velocity, acceleration and phase measurements as necessary.
Data and trend analysis - Analysis of existing or historical vibration data.
Fault diagnosis - Identification of cause for increased vibration and/or noise.
Machine condition surveys - Understand the development of machine condition.
Balance and alignment - Precision alignment to industry standards or identification of alignment issues.
Mechanical services - Re-Generate have extensive design and asset management experience to address any identified faults.
Design, supply and installation of permanent condition monitoring equipment.
Frequency response - Resonant frequency response using impact or bump testing.
Re-Generate uses highly sensitive equipment capable of measuring over a wide range of frequencies.
